Active discussions are underway with key partners and stakeholders to identify where support services for women offenders are most needed across London and what services will be most effective in reducing the number of women entering custody and reoffending.

As a component of our prison reforms, £1.3bn will be invested to modernise the prison estate to make it more efficient, safer and focused on supporting the rehabilitation of offenders. The capital receipt from the sale of Holloway will contribute to this work.
