Mental Health Services: Children and Young People

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many children and young people accessed child and adolescent mental health services in each of the last five years for which figures are available.

The data requested are not collected.
A new Mental Health Services Minimum Dataset is expected to begin national reporting from January 2016. This should provide information on referrals to National Health Service commissioned services.
