To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what research his Department has commissioned into the effect of ventilation systems in reducing the spread of covid-19.

Public Health England (PHE) has not commissioned or committed funding to specific research into the effect of ventilation systems in reducing the spread of COVID-19. However, PHE has published guidance on the ventilation of indoor spaces to prevent the spread of the virus, which is available at the following link:
