The UK's longstanding policy is that any judgment as to whether genocide or international crimes have occurred is a matter for a competent national or international court, not governments or non-judicial bodies. We have consistently called on Israel to respect International Humanitarian Law regarding its operations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
