No such discussions have taken place.

The Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition (SACN) published a report on carbohydrates and health in July 2015. The SACN was asked to review the evidence on carbohydrates and colorectal, metabolic and oral health; it did not consider evidence in relation to lung cancer. The SACN has no plans to review the evidence on carbohydrates and health again in the near future.
