Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, by what date he will ensure the removal and replacement of dangerous ACM cladding on all high-rise residential blocks.

We are working with all relevant parties, including local authorities and building owners, to ensure remediation happens without unnecessary delay. However, remediation does take time and it is important to get it right. The time it takes will vary greatly, depending on whether the work required is removing a small amount of cladding or major construction work requiring scaffolding and a new cladding system.
