The Foreign Secretary spoke on the phone with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on 19 April. There was agreement on the need to continue diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Libya and the resumption of political talks. The UK remains actively engaged in international diplomatic efforts to promote a ceasefire, humanitarian access, and a return to the political process.
