Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, when the NHS England prioritisation process was first implemented; and whether NHS England undertaken a public consultation on that process.

There are several policy propositions currently being developed through the Commissioning Support Programme which will be considered by the Clinical Priorities Advisory group (CPAG) at future meetings.

Members of the public will be able to attend the CPAG prioritisation meeting in May 2019, attendance being through a registration process.

The use of patient impact reports is a part of a pilot which will be evaluated and considered by NHS England.
