Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the 20-day minimum threshold charge for those British Citizens who live overseas and use the emergency services when in the UK on their willingness to use such services and consequent effect on their health and mental wellbeing.

The Department is not aware of the 20-day minimum threshold charge in relation to United Kingdom citizens and British passport holders who have used the National Health Service but now live overseas and therefore has made no assessment of its impact.
