Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what powers he possesses to take action against abortion providers which fail to comply with his Department's interpretation of the Abortion Act 1967 as set out in the Guidance on the Requirements of the Abortion Act 1967.

The Secretary of State for Health has powers under section 1(3) of the Abortion Act 1967 and these could be used in such circumstances.
