Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, which mental health and acute NHS trusts in England provide nurseries for staff; how many nursery places each trust provides in each such case; and what the average cost per place, per hour is in each such trust.

The Department does not collect information in respect of whether mental health or acute trusts provide nurseries for their staff. As employers are responsible for their workforce, it would be for these trusts to decide, in conjunction with their staff, whether to provide nursery facilities.
