Television Licences: Non-payment

Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many people were sent to prison for not paying (a) the television licence and (b) a subsequent fine; and how many days each offender spent in prison in the latest year for which information is available.

The number of days each offender who has been committed to prison for failure to pay fines imposed for non-payment of the BBC licence fee in the latest year that information is available is:
