Government tracks progress on a range of measures that are included in the Northern Powerhouse Strategy, published 23 November 2016. For example, we have 3 newly elected Northern Powerhouse regional mayors in Greater Manchester, Tees Valley, and Liverpool City Region each with ambitious new powers and bespoke investment funds. Through Growth Deals we have allocated £3.4 billion of investment to improve transport links, unlock housing and enhance digital connectivity. We continue to build on this progress by working closely with local partners and businesses across the North to ensure the success of the Northern Powerhouse.
