Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what funding his Department provided to Scan4Safety in (a) 2017-18, (b) 2018-19 and (c) 2019-20.

Funding provided by the Department to Scan4Safety for these financial years is as follows:

- 2017-18 - £2.7 million

- 2018-19 - £1.2 million (figures only available to end of January 2019)

- 2019-20 – No allocated funding

Plans to roll out the Scan4Safety initiative across England are currently in development following a decision from ministers to see this implemented in the acute sector.
