The Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) can confirm that the annual general practitioner (GP) workforce census excludes GP locums and hence they do not hold any information on GP locums.

The HSCIC centre does not hold any data on the number of GPs employed through agencies. We do not believe that this data is held centrally anywhere else.
