Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many sanction recommendations have been made for every 1000 jobseeker referrals made by each Work Programme provider.

Work Programme data on sanctions at the level asked for is not held.

The data held on Work Programme sanctions shows how many referrals and adverse decisions were made in numbers, and as a percentage, for every Parliamentary Constituency, Jobcentre Plus area or Local Authority area.This can be found on the DWP internet site through the following link:
