Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many times his Department imposed financial penalties on pharmaceutical companies for failure to comply with regulations under the Medical Supplies (Costs) Act 2017 for (a) exceeding a price cap and (b) failure to record or provide requested information under a statutory scheme.

The Department has not imposed any penalties under regulations made under any powers in the NHS Act 2006 as amended by the Health Service Medical Supplies (Costs) Act 2017.
