Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment her Department has made of the implications for its policies of the findings of the report, The Greyhound Industry: Don't bet on fair treatment, published by the Dogs Trust on 1 January 2015.

Defra officials attended the launch of the document on 3 June 2015. The report will be considered in the context of the ongoing 5 year review of the Welfare of Racing Greyhounds Regulations 2010 on which Defra plans to consult later this year.
