Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what discussions he has had with his US counterpart on tackling the threat from Islamic extremism in northern Africa.
The stability of the North African region is important to the UK. Extremist groups threaten regional security and the interests of our nation and our allies. The British Government has an ongoing dialogue with the United States on counter-terrorism issues, including on Northern Africa.
