Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what steps he is taking to improve the performance of the Work Programme for people over 50 years of age; and if he will make a statement.

The Work Programme is continuing to offer tailored support to people over 50 and providers are continuing to design support based on each individual need.

Work programme performance has been improving. Providers are improving their own performance, in part driven by the Department's performance management regime.
