The Department spent £186m on IT, development and implementation for Universal Credit in 2013-14, against the previously forecast £401m.

The forecast for 2014-15 is currently £316m against the previous forecast of £317m

This forecast is subject to change due to further refinements of requirements and on-going commercial discussions. Plans continue to be developed to support rollout of UC within budget.
