The Government has published a new digital and data strategy, Transforming for a Digital Future: Government’s 2022-25 Roadmap for Digital and Data.

The strategy sets out the Government’s plan for a transformed, more efficient digital Government that provides better outcomes for everyone. It does this through a common, cross-government vision for 2025 and a set of specific actions the Department will take to achieve it. Please refer to mission 1 of the strategy which aims to improve online services to a high standard, including user experience and accessibility of the services.

All the Department’s digital services are tested with public during their development, and they must adhere to the Govt Digital Service Standard and pass the assessments in order to be released. This includes meeting the criteria for user research and accessibility.
