Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, pursuant to the Oral Answer of 4 June 2015, Official Report, column 739, when he plans to create a cultural protection fund; and what funding will be allocated to that fund.

My Department is actively considering what further steps can be taken to help protect cultural heritage in areas of particular risk and I am leading discussions across Government to ensure we are taking a joined up approach to cultural protection.
