Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of the level of threat of violent attacks on shop workers; and if she will make a statement.

The Government carried out a Call for Evidence on violence and abuse against shop staff to better understand the scale of the issue and the measures which may help prevent these crimes.
