Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how his Department plans to improve the transition between child and adult services for people living with HIV in England.
This question was answered on 1st November 2018
In line with NHS England’s Standard Contract for specialised HIV Services (children), an individual transitional care plan for each young person should be developed to facilitate a smooth and timely transition to adult care. The plan should be developed in consultation with the young person. More information can be found at the following link:
