Food and farming are central to our national identity and a bedrock of our economy, generating £110 billion a year in the UK. We want to see this vital industry go from strength to strength, taking advantage of the growing demand for the British brand. We are determined to get the best deal for the UK in our negotiations to leave the EU. Ministers regularly hold discussions with colleagues across government.
