Online general practitioner services providing treatment for a disease, disorder or injury under supervision of a medical practitioner registered with the General Medical Council, and which are based in England or have a base of operations in England, are required to register with the Care Quality Commission and meet the requirements of Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, including provisions for safe care and treatment.
