Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the financial effect on independent pharmacies of the implementation of the Falsified Medicines Directive by February 2019.

The Government is continuing to work with stakeholders to inform our understanding of the potential costs of the different IT solutions and approaches to the implementation of the Falsified Medicines Directive, including in respect to independent pharmacies.
