HMRC does not expect the decision to retain Ipswich, Haven House as a Specialist Site, to have an impact on either the overall costs or projected staffing numbers for its Locations Programme.

HMRC monitors its spending closely and is continuing to deliver the Programme within its existing funding.

Moving to regional centres will save around £300 million up to 2025. The Programme will deliver annual cash savings of £74 million in 2025-26, rising to around £90 million from 2028.
