The recommissioning of NCS provider contracts in 2020 gives a key opportunity to make efficiencies and drive down costs, which will further improve value for money for the taxpayer.

We are working closely with the NCS Trust on the recommissioning programme, and all contracts will be awarded by the new National Citizen Service Trust Royal Charter Body. The recommissioning process and the award of contracts is a Board level matter, and as such the current NCS Trust Board provide direction and scrutiny to the process.
