Following the Government announcement of a new financial settlement for the National Health Service, NHS England is consulting cancer stakeholders on their experiences and priorities for cancer care in England, including evidence of what has worked. This will feed into the wider NHS ten-year plan to improve services and care, build on the progress already made in implementing the recommendations of the independent Cancer Taskforce’s 2015 report (Achieving World-Class Cancer Outcomes: A strategy for England 2015-2020) and address the five points in Macmillan Cancer Support’s vision for the future of the NHS.
