Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what the quantum of change is for the prescription charge in each of the last five years.

The following table shows the change in prescription charges since 2014/15.

The cost of a 3-month Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC) has been frozen since 2011/12 and the 12-month PPC has been frozen since 2009/10.
