Children born in the UK to non-UK EU citizens after 2000 will be able to apply for settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, as set out in the Statement of Intent on the scheme published on 21 June 2018. Evidence will need to be provided of their identity and nationality, generally through a passport or ID card, and of their relationship to their resident EU citizen parent, for example, a full birth certificate.
