Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps stakeholders can take to have an input into the re-commissioning of mental health services beyond the end date of the current NHS Long Term Plan for Mental Health Services of March 2024.

The future of the National Health Service budget beyond 2023/24 will be for a future Spending Review.

We expect NHS England and NHS Improvement to work with stakeholders in developing its plans for mental health services beyond March 2024 and to set out their plans for mental health services for consideration by the Government in due course.
