Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment his Department has made of the effect of the UK leaving the EU on the Maritime and Coastguard Agency’s regulatory responsibilities.

With the exception of the required changes needed to legislation to ensure that EU retained law continues to operate effectively, the scope of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency's regulatory responsibilities will remain broadly unchanged after exit.
