Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has been made of the adequacy (a) in the accessibility of specialist mental health services and (b) mental health training for those working with people impacted by domestic violence.

We have made no specific assessment. The Department is working with NHS England and NHS Improvement to raise awareness and understanding of domestic violence and abuse among healthcare professionals and the appropriate actions to take when necessary.
