Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) contracts require Exit Plans to be in place and maintained throughout the life of the contracts. These plans have been prepared in line with good contract management and standard industry practice. The content of the plans are specified in Schedule 24 of the contracts, which can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/community-rehabilitation-company-contracts.

CRC contracts do not provide CRCs with an option to terminate the contract. We are in commercial discussions with providers to make sure we secure the quality of services we need from CRCs. All options remain on the table.
