London boroughs receive funding to respond to homelessness from a number of funding streams including Flexible Homeless Support Grant, Homelessness Prevention funding and the Homelessness Prevention Programme.

On 30 March we announced additional funding of £30 million to tackle rough sleeping in local authorities with the highest numbers of rough sleepers. Final allocations will be announced shortly.

The Department engages regularly with London boroughs and the Greater London Authority on homelessness and this dialogue will continue as we work together to reduce homelessness.
