Further to the answer I gave to Question UIN 129836 on 26 January 2023, the department has published an Explanatory Note detailing the approach to assessment and decision making, the list of successful applicants, and a geographic and thematic summary analysis of successful and unsuccessful bids. The department is currently providing feedback to unsuccessful bidders. Once that process is complete, and alongside further details being announced on Round 3 of the fund, the department may judge to set out further information.

The total grant amount allocated to date under the Levelling Up Fund programme is £3.8 billion. £1.7 billion was allocated under Round 1, and a further £2.1 billion was allocated under Round 2.
