The Department has been informed by NHS England that NHS England and the University of Bristol decided that the Annual Report of the Learning Disabilities Mortality Review Programme should be published on Friday 4 May 2018, which was the earliest date following the local government elections.

The Department was not involved in the decision to publish the Annual Report of the Learning Disabilities Mortality Review programme on 4 May. The Department was informally notified of the intended publication by NHS England on Thursday 3 May 2018 and sent a copy of the report on that day.
