EU citizens and their family members who are protected by the Withdrawal Agreement will continue to be able to access healthcare as they do now - exempt from the Immigration Health Surcharge. The Government has been clear that it also wants to secure a similar agreement on citizens’ rights with the non-EU EEA states (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein).

Future arrangements on immigration policy after the end of the implementation period are to be confirmed. We will want to ensure that any decisions on the long-term arrangements are based on evidence and engagement.
