Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what steps the Government is taking to uphold the Declaration of the Second European Youth Work Convention in 2015.

We take account of all non-binding European youth-related recommendations including the Declaration in our ongoing work and development of our programmes. We value the exchange of best practice at a European level, regularly engage with the Council of the European Union Youth Working Parties to support and influence the development of EU level conclusions and recently invited member states to contribute to the development of the Civil Society Strategy.
