Immigrants: Sleeping Rough

Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 11 January 2021 to Question 131288 on Immigrants: Sleeping Rough, when her Department plans to publish guidance for migrants on the recent changes to the Immigration Rules which allow for the cancellation or refusal of leave to remain in the event that a person has experienced rough sleeping.

Guidance for decision-makers on the application of the new Immigration Rule relating to rough sleeping will be issued in due course.

Decisions using this provision will not be made until relevant guidance is available to support decision-makers.
