Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many applications for asylum from Pakistani Christians were (a) made and (b) granted in each year since 2015.

The way information is stored on asylum claims means it is often not possible to report on the reasons for a claim without conducting a manual search of both paper and electronic records. Therefore, we cannot identify how many asylum claims have been made or granted leave, for claimants from a particular religion in a particular country.
