The information requested is not held by DWP. Providers have their own complaint process in place, which signposts complainants to the Independent Case Examiner (ICE) in the event that they are dissatisfied with the provider’s final response to their complaint.

The Centre for Health and Disability Assessments have confirmed that they do not collate complaints specifically in relation to the information requested; however they do record complaints regarding the manner of the Healthcare Professional, the factual accuracy of the report and disputed findings. The total number of complaints received for all these categories is less than 0.25% of the total number of assessments undertaken in each contract year since 2015.
