Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many and what proportion of state-funded pupils benefited from a partnership between an independent school and a state-funded school in (a) 2016 and (b) 2017.
This question was answered on 22nd March 2018
The department has consulted on the relationships between independent and state funded schools, and will be responding in due course.
The Independent Schools Councils runs an annual census of its member schools which can be found at: https://www.isc.co.uk/research/annual-census/. The Census and Annual Report Snapshot for 2017 is attached.
