NHS Resolution handles clinical negligence claims on behalf of National Health Service trusts and NHS foundation trusts in England.

NHS Resolution has advised that trusts’ income generation’s activities are indemnified under the Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts. However, claims involving private patients are not coded separately in their Claims Management System and it is therefore not possible to provide this data.
