Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how much her Department has spent on legal costs seeking to prevent the publication of the Universal Credit Project Assessment Reviews conducted between March 2012 and October 2015.

The costs of defending the public interest in this specific case were £10,750 internal legal costs, and counsel has a cost of £8,330 + £1,660 of recoverable VAT.
