Legal Aid Scheme: Housing

Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on legal aid for early advice on housing issues.

Our legal aid system is a fundamental pillar of access to justice. Across all departments, the government is committed to ensuring that legal aid continues to be available in the most important cases.
Ministers and officials have regular discussions with Cabinet colleagues on a range of issues.
