Offshore Corporation Tax (including Supplementary Charge) is paid by companies exploring and producing oil and gas from the UK and the UK Continental Shelf. The number of companies that used field and investment allowances to reduce their Supplementary Charge liabilities in 2015-16 was 48. Data to assess the number of companies claiming the relief in 2016-17 and 2017-18 is not yet available.
